He became the first NBA player to score 10,000 points, rebounds, and assist in 2022. James was a student at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in his hometown of Akron Ohio and was heavily in the news media as a future NBA star. James was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers as the top player in the NBA draft in 2003. After being named 2004 NBA Rookie of the year, he swiftly established himself as an elite player in the NBA with the MVP Award in 2009 and 2010. In the end, he failed to capture any championships with Cleveland James left in 2010 as a free agent to be a part of with the Miami Heat this was announced in a television program called The Decision and is among the most controversial free-agent choices throughout sports history.
