Alexandra Shipp

Alexandra Shipp has been a well-known actress over the years. Born in Phoenix Arizona in the United States on the 16th of July, 1991. She appeared as Victoria Justice's guest in Victorious which was released in 2012. Shipp had her first acting performance as a kid as a child in Alvin and the Chipmunks The Squeakquel which was released in the year 2009. After starring in Nickelodeon's teen comedy House of Anubis as KT Rush, she was later cast to take on the role of lead of KT. In 2014 Shipp gained attention for her role in the role of Dani Raymond in the VH1 television sequel Drumline: A New Beat as well as Aaliyah Haughton, who played the title character in the Lifetime television film Aaliyah The Princess of R&B. Shipp performed in the final performance. She also sang in Straight Outta Compton, a biographical drama that tells the tale of hip-hop group N.W.A. In 2016, she appeared in Bryan Singer's comic book film X-Men: Apocalypse as Ororo Munroe/Storm who is a weather-controlling superhero previously portrayed by Halle Berry. In 2018, she starred alongside Nick Robinson and Jorge Lendeborg Jr. in Love Simon and Kathryn Prescott as well as Lucy Hale in Dude both high school-themed comedy films. James is the name used to describe her younger brother. She played Danielle Dani Raymond (a fictional character) in the TV film Drumline A New Beat from 2014. Alexandra Ruth Shipp born 16 July 1991, is an American actor and songwriter. She became famous for playing real-life performers Aaliyah as well as Kimberly Woodruff respectively in Straight Outta Compton and Aaliyah The Princess of R&B, both on Lifetime.
